Arduino Cloud for Education builds IoT for STEM

One for those with a STEM interest, maybe – Arduino is promoting its Arduino Cloud for Education, which it describes as an easy-to-use, secure platform that helps teachers and students to collaborate on interactive projects, at anytime, from any device.

In the organisation’s own words, the IoT focused support is designed to be “the simplest, fastest, low-code way to get students started”.

Specifically, it provides web services for remote group access, IoT support and STEAM teaching resources including those for coding, robotics, IoT, and AI.

The School Plan includes unlimited sketch storage, 6 months data retention, unlimited compilations, support for 5 things per member (i.e. the number of objects that each user can connect to the cloud at a time), centralised administration, a shareable IoT dashboard facility, Google Classroom integration and some Machine Learning tools. Pricing starts from $15 per member per year, based on 101+ members.
