Eseye is a service-provider that can, automatically over-the-air, swap between network operators for IoT nodes that communicate over cellular networks. Its service works with special SIM card, dubbed ‘AnyNet+ eSIM’, and is built on the eUICC standard for network operator swapping.
Pod Point, Shell NewMotion and BP Chargemaster are amongst EV charging companies that have already signed up, said Eseye.
“We chose Eseye as our connectivity partner because we are confident in the service they provide,” said InstaVolt CTO Gary Kirkland. “The technology Eseye offers is far beyond what anyone else in the market can provide. The eSIM embedded in our charge points offers the ability to network manage and switch connectivity to another provider if needed. This ensures our chargers have high uptime wherever they are located.”

Eseye was founded in 2007 and is based in Surrey. It has customers all over the world.
